拉邦舞譜以及重建在台灣的動向探索

這篇文章將研究從1970年開始拉邦舞譜以及舞譜重建,在台灣的發展歷史背景,研究分為三個方向深入探討:學校課程中的拉邦舞譜、利用拉邦舞譜舞作重建及利用舞譜記錄台灣的舞蹈創作,並深入了解舞譜對於台灣舞蹈發展的影響。參考的資料包括高等教育課程中的拉邦舞譜、由台灣的學校及職業舞團演出的拉邦舞譜重建舞作及現今有舞譜記錄的台灣編舞家舞蹈作品。此文章的呈現方式將包含上述資料之解析,以及分享由新古典舞團舞譜重建安娜索克羅「房間」以及北藝大重建的尼金斯基「牧神午後」的演出影片片段。希望這份研究、文章及呈現將為未來拉邦舞譜在台灣的發展,提供豐富的歷史資源並帶領大家徹底地檢視拉邦舞譜的發展歷史。

Looking into Labanotation and its Restage in Taiwan

This talk will investigate the historical background of Labanotation and the restaged dances in Taiwan since its 1970 inception. To deliver in depth analysis of the form’s impact on dance in Taiwan, the following three areas will be examined: Labanotation in the curriculum, choreographic restaging through Labanotation and the documentation of Taiwanese choreography through notated scores. The supporting text will comprise of Labanotation in higher education curriculum, reconstructed dances performed by both Taiwanese schools and professional companies and a current historical compilation of notated dances by Taiwanese choreographers. In the talk, the film clips of Sokolow’s “Rooms” performed by Neo-Classic and “Afternoon of a Faun” by Taipei National University of Arts will be shared. This research will allow for thorough reflection of Labanotation’s past, providing a rich historical resource for future generations and further development of Labanotation and the restaging in Taiwan.

「雲門舞集」創始團員。伊利諾大學表創碩士,紐約舞譜局教師及讀譜者雙證書。拉邦動作分析國際證照師。曾全職任教於美國喬治亞大學,科羅拉多學院以及北藝大。教學項目為拉邦動作分析、身體覺察研究。領導經濟部學界科專《人體動作質地分析與肢體情緒數位傳達應用策劃案》,產出三項新發明專利。拉邦舞譜重建共有26首,個人編創21首,演出於台灣、香港、新加坡及美國。現為菁霖基金會執行長以及北京舞蹈學院特聘教授。
Yunyu Wang
Professor Emerita, Dance, Taipei National University of the Arts, Taiwan. She received the MFA from the University of Illinois, USA. Yunyu is the founding dancer of Cloud Gate Theatre and danced with CG between 1973 – 81. She is a certified Labanotation Teacher (1984), Re-stager (1985) and a Laban Movement Analyst (1996). She restaged 26 master dances from Labanotation and choreographed 21 dances for dance companies and the university dance programs. Wang is actively engaged in dance in Asia and USA. She directed the $1.5 million dance technology project funded by the Ministry of Economic, Taiwan, using Laban Movement Analysis to understand human body motion and emotion. Through the project, she has created and sold three patents for health industry. She also co-direct the project of integrating arts and medicine (2013-2015). Yunyu writes the issue in dance about Taiwanese female choreographers, human rights, and dance for elderly and community. She was the President of World Dance Alliance, Asian-Pacific (2009-2017) and the Chief Production Director of 2017 Universiade in Taipei, Taiwan. Currently, she is the CEO of Chinlin Foundation for Arts and Culture and is the Distinguish Professor in Beijing Dance Academy.
